3352215 - Error CO_MES_INT004 occurs when trying to confirm a production order

Error CO_MES_INT004 occurs when trying to do a confirmation for a production order distributed to a MES system.

It's not possible to create confirmations on S/4HANA Cloud side.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open 'Confirm Production Order' app
2. Select a Production Order that is distributed to a MES system
3. Fill the necessary information
4. Click 'Save'
5. Error occurs: Message no. CO_MES_INT004 : "Order XXXXXX has been distributed to MES; Quantity confirmation not possible"

MES integration for production orders is designed in such a way that the responsibility for processing the entire order and for confirming the work progress passes to the MES as soon as the order is distributed.

In cloud, it's possible to use the API API_PROD_ORDER_CONFIRMATION_2_SRV to confirm production orders that have been distributed to an MES system.
