Error F5579 occurs when reversing journal entries.

Reversing accounting journal entries.

If the cancellation journal entry has been created by reset clearing and is containing exchange rate differences then it is not possible to reset the clearing of the cancellation document again. This is basically the content of the error message. In case of a reset clearing of a payment document having exchange rate differences we force the cancellation as the exchange rate differences has to be cancelled.

If we would allow this situation the original payment document would not be reversed anymore (as its cancellation document would be cancelled) and this is the situation we do not allow .
