3352468 - The language in the profile setting cannot be changed by the custom widget in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

You use a custom widget to update the profile settings such as language, data formatting, number formatting for the SAC users.

The other settings are updated as expected but the language is not.

The language can be updated with the same custom widget in another SAC tenant.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 

1. Use a custom widget to update the profile settings in an analytic application or optimized story.
2. Run the application.
3. Check in user profile setting.
4. The language is not updates as expected.

The SAML attribute mapping, which is accessible from Users page, contains a mapping for preferredLanguage. This means that the preferredLanguage field will be consumed from the IdP only and cannot be updated from SAC.

Remove the preferredLanguage mapping, which should allow the widget to work as intended.
