Symptom

  • When trying to open a custom MDF UI in Manage Configuration UI the following error is shown:
    An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support if the issue keeps occurring.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Manage Configuration UI
  2. Select the affected MDF object
  3. Error occurs

Cause

There is a json parsing error in the delta value of the ConfigUIMeta of the UI.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to Manage Data
  2. Select ConfigUIMeta
  3. Select the UI in question
  4. Copy the delta value in json format and find the parsing error
  5. Correct the error and upload the corrected value
