- Custom Card Behavior with Business Rules
- Additional field with the rule that was set on the card appears
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Manage Home Page
- Under cards, select Organizational Updates
- Add Card
- Enter details until you reach Navigation
- Select URL
- Enable Rule-Based
- Ensure Generic Rule Selection is enabled
- Select rule
A new field with the rule name appears
Resolution
Take the following as an example:
We setup a card with a basic rule (if department = HR). So, in the URL field we add https://www.google.com and in this new rule field we add the URL for SAP help https://help.sap.com/.
Results: If we log in as a user with a department of HR, it opens the URL to SAP Help. But if we login as any other user with a different department, it opens the Google URL.
