How to use SAP Analytics Cloud as a repository in Analysis for Office?

The feature is available from AO 2.8 SP18 and higher versions. Refer to this blog post for details and pre-requisites.

• Please note that SAC will not generate a launcher file (.sapaox), as it is when saving workbooks to BW or to BI Platform.
• When opening an Analysis Workbook in SAC, a file with extension .xlsx (or xlsm) will be downloaded.

Please note that the following features are not supported with the SAP Analytics Cloud repository:

• You can't save workbook variants.
• You can't schedule and precalculate Analysis workbooks.
