3352749 - No Release or Reject button for Sales Document in My inbox app

Symptom

You received a sales document for approval in the My Inbox app, however there is no button for Release or Reject the sales document.

The respective user have the sales manager role assigned (based on the business role template SAP_BR_SALES_MANAGER).

The respective user have business catalog SAP_SD_BC_MYINBOX_PC assigned on its roles.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

The Sales Manager role have Write Access set to No Access.

Approval Statuses and Authorizations: If you do not give sales managers unrestricted write access for the relevant SD document categories, these sales managers cannot release or reject approval requests or send them back for rework.

Resolution

You need to adjust the Write Access for the respective Sales Manager role in the Maintain Business Roles app under Maintain Restrictions.
