3353104 - Error Message "Specified sales organization 1234 is not valid"

You are replicating data to C4C and you are facing the error message "Specified sales organization 1234 is not valid" (where 1234 meaning the Org Unit ID) in the web service message monitoring for the incoming message.

Please note the Org Unit exists in C4C and ID Mapping is maintained as well.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Administrator work center.
2. Go to the General Setting work center view.
3. Open the Web Service Message Monitoring under System Administration.
4. Select query All.
5. Search for message ID with error "Specified sales organization 1234 is not valid" (where 1234 meaning the Org Unit ID).

"Specified sales organization 1234 is not valid" occurs and the reason is the following:

• The external sales org 1234 is mapped to internal Org Unit ID 9876.
• The Org Unit ID 9876 is not defined as a sales organizationin C4C.

The issue shall be resolved if Org Unit ID 9876 is flagged as sales org. To do so, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Organizational Management work center.
2. Go to the Org Structure work center view.
3. Search and open the Org Unit ID 9876.
4. Go to the Functions facet.
5. Flag the Sales Organization checkbox.
