3353238 - 'Problem fetching token with grant type client_x509' error in Cloud Integration

Symptom

When trying to connect from Sender to Cloud Integration (inbound) using certificate-based authentication the connection fails with HTTP 401 and/or HTTP 500, and in LJS logs you can see the following error:
