3353636 - Learning Item showing a required date when nothing was set

Items assigned in the Assigned Items tab in the user record, have the required date set as the date when the item is assigned.

SAP Successfactors Learning

1. Go to the user’s record page in Learning administration side >
2. Click the assigned items tab >
3. Click in the Plus (+) sign do add the item >
4. Search for the item and add it >
5. The item will be assigned with the required date as the same date of the assignment

At the item level, when the initial basis is set to "Calendar" the system needs a basis date as source (only available for curricula) to calculate the required date.

The system is designed to set the required date equal as the item assigned date, since for free floating items we don't have an option for setting the basis date. This is an expected behavior
