SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
- A story is created in Optimized Design Experience (ODE) mode. It is based on two live BW models which have variables. And all the variables are linked in story.
- When the story is opened, after input the variable values in the prompt dialog, another prompt dialog comes to ask for the input for the variable value of the 2nd model.
- This issue doesn't happen in Classic story mode.
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.08
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a new story in Optimized Design Experience (ODE) mode.
- Add a table and use a live BW model which has variables as data source.
- Add another table and use another live BW model which has variables as data source.
- Edit the linked variables and make all the variables from the two models are linked.
- Save the story and open it again.
- Note that after input value for the variables, another prompt dialog comes again.
