While merging change project you received below errors:

• Error while checking workspace/FT conflicts for project 
• Value in setting G/L Account Assignment must also be entered in setting General Ledger Accounts 
• Value in setting Costs: General Expenses must also be entered in setting Permitted G/L Accounts by 
  Account Type and Posting 
• Value in General Ledger setting: Other assets must also be entered in setting Permitted G/L Accounts by 
  Account Type and Posting
• Value in setting General Ledger: Other liabilities must also be entered in setting Permitted G/L Accounts 
  by Account Type and Posting 
  
  

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Go to Implementation Projects view
3. Highlight the Change Project
4. Select Open Activity List
5. Go to the Go-Live tab
6. Select Merge Changes and Start Merge
7. The merge fails and you will see the mentioned errors

The GL accounts have been maintained in the main solution profile and are missing in the change project which causes inconsistencies during the merge.

In order to solve the errors that occur during the merge process these GL accounts need to be maintained in the change project in the same way as they are in the main solution profile.
