3354045 - Warning Displayed When Uploading Price List via Excel: Price List has been saved and send for approval

You are trying to use an Excel template to upload a pricelist, but the records are not saved and the following warning is displayed:

Price List has been saved and send for approval

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Fill in the required details in the Excel template.
2. Login to the system via the Excel.
3. Click on "Save Data To".
4. The following warning is displayed and  you cannot find the Price List in the System:
   Price List has been saved and send for approval

1. You have scoped the approval process for Price Lists and the user logged on to the System via Excel is either not assigned to the Work Center View ID CRM_PRICELISTS and/or MMA_SALESPRICEMAINTENANCE or has no Write Access to both of them.
2. You haven't scoped the approval process for Price Lists and the user logged on to the System via Excel is either not assigned to the Work Center View ID CRM_PRICELISTS or has no Write Access.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Business Users view.
3. Select the User that is logged on to the System via the Excel Template
4. Click on Edit --> Access Rights.
5. Navigate to the Access Restriction tab
6. Search for the Work Center View ID CRM_PRICELISTS
7. The user is either not assigned to the Work Center View ID or does not have Write Access.

1. Search for the Work Center View ID MMA_SALESPRICEMAINTENANCE
2. The user is either not assigned to the Work Center View ID or does not have Write Access.

You need to ensure that the user is assigned to the Work Center View ID CRM_PRICELISTS and if you have the approval process scoped also to MMA_SALESPRICEMAINTENANCE and has Read and Write Access.
