3354162 - Purge Requests not deleted after retention time set in Company System and Logo Settings

Symptom

Retention time in days for finished requests in Purge Request Monitor was set but there are remaining old purge requests in the monitor.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center > Company System and Logo Settings
  2. On Data Retention Management section 
  3. Enter retention time in days in "Set the retention time in days for finished requests in Purge Request Monitor"
  4. Still in Purge Request Monitor > Purge Progress & Results there are reports over the retention time configured

Resolution

The requests may not be in the supported status of retention rule. Purge requests in Purge Request Monitor > Purge Progress & Results with the following status are subject to the retention rule: 

  • Completed

  • Completed with error

  • Completed with an empty report

  • Declined

  • Failed

  • Expired
