Symptom

Is it possible to delete employees in SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2?

Environment

  • SAP Service Cloud v2
  • SAP Sales Cloud v2

Cause

Employee records are part of what the system considers master data. Master data is the data that is used over and again without any changes for a longer period of time. It is the core data that is essential for operations in a specific business or business unit. Once created, employees cannot be deleted. 

Resolution

  • The solution is to change the employee's validity date (Valid to filed). Then, employees that are not valid will be filtered out in the value help of business documents.
  • Another way is to use the Data Depersonalization.
