Symptom

Cost object export job is dumping:

Category               ABAP programming error
Runtime Errors         ASSERTION_FAILED
ABAP Program           CTE_FIN_MD_COST_OBJECT_EXPORT
Application Component  BNS-CON-SE-ERP-FIN

When performing manual export the error message shows up:

Logical system name is used by another system. Please use a unique one.

This happens for any cost object export: Cost Centers, Project WBS Elements, Internal Order and so on.
