3354378 - Startup of XI Application 'REPOSITORY' failed

Symptom

  • You updated the Process Orchestration (PO) system to SP27 or higher with latest patches.
  • After this, you might encounter issues when opening the ESR, although the Integration Builder is working OK.
  • In the developer trace (defaultTrace) you can see errors as follows, when trying to start the ESR:
    Startup of XI Application 'REPOSITORY' failed
    Thrown:
    com.sap.aii.ib.core.applcomp.StartupException: Unable to start component REPOSITORY since unable to execute startup code entry class com.sap.aii.ibrep.server.applcomp.StartupCodeEntry. Cause: com.sap.aii.ib.server.pvcadapt.migration.PvcMigrationException: com.tssap.dtr.pvc.basics.cluster.TaskFailedException: The user does not have permission: applocking, Action: logical_locking_create
