3354391 - How to Create Access Restriction for a Particular Field in Sales Order

Symptom

You want to set access restriction on a particular field in sales order for a Business User/Users.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales order work center.
  2. View: Sales orders.
  3. Show: All Orders.
  4. Search and edit relevant sales order.
  5. Navigate to Items tab.
  6. You want to the user not to view the List Price of particular line item.

Cause

It is not possible to set access restriction on only one field in a sales order for Business Users. 

Resolution

This is expected system behavior.
