3354586 - Error in Production Proposal Run

You will encounter an error message during Execution of Release Production Proposal Run ABC(where ABC is the Run ID)

• Error for order XYZ(where XYZ is the production order ID)
• Cannot request production; output quantity outside SOS validity

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Control workcenter and Release Production Proposal Runs view.

2. Find Run ID ABC and select its Application Log.

3. Go to the Results tab and you will see the errors.

We have analyzed this issue and found this as a bug.

This is critical code fix and hence requires extensive testing.

We have made note of this issue in our internal tool to give the code fix and we will deliver this in future release and we cannot commit any timelines for the same.

There is workaround for the reported issue i.e.if the same Run is executed again (without changing anything) the error vanishes and Production Proposal will be released as expected.
