3354595 - Order of bank operations in Within Period Bank Processing

Symptom

Most transactions related to banks occur during a single calculation stage, WITHIN_PERIOD_BANK_PROCESSING (WPBP). Within this calculation stage, bank transactions are processed in the following order: 

  1. Accrual
  2. Usage
  3. Transfer
  4. Clearing

The acronym AUTC can be used to remember this order.

This means that all accruals among all banks that share the calculation stage WITHIN_PERIOD_BANK_PROCESSING occur before all usages of all banks.
