3354730 - Missing/empty required fields (First Name, Last Name, Event Reason) in Actions > New Hire Data - Onboarding

Hard-coded fields such as the First Name, Last Name, and Event Reason are empty or missing from the Onboarding Dashboard > Actions > New Hire Data.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to the Onboarding Dashboard.
2. Search for the affected onboardee.
3. Click on Actions > New Hire Data.
4. The First Name, Last Name, and Event Reason are empty or missing.

Cause #1:

• There is a change in the onboardee's start date.
• The start date is updated directly in Employee Central (EC) through an automation script. However, the corresponding update is not reflected in the onboarding process.
• This results in a mismatch between the ONB process date and the EC start date, causing issues when loading the data in the UI.

Cause #2:

• There is a change in the onboardee's start date.
• An invalid draft onboarding process is still pending, which causes a discrepancy between the ONB2Process target date and the start date in EC (Employment Information).

Solution #1:

Ensure that the start date is always updated via the "Dashboard > Action > New Hire Data" page.

Solution #2:

To resolve the draft issue, execute a script to remove or correct the invalid onboarding draft.
