3354904 - Incomplete Goods and Service Receipt due to error: Start date must be before end date; enter new date

Goods and service receipt are showing incomplete , Error "Start date must be before end date; enter new date"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Goods and Service Receipt Work Center
2. Go to Receipts and Returns View and choose Show by Documents
3. Search for desired Goods and Service Receipt number
4. We could see the error "Start date must be before end date; enter new date"

While creating the Goods and Service Receipt, the customer has entered a posting date, the system saves this as the default posting date. The system will consider this as the posting date , even after changing the posting date. 

Due to this, the system will consider the initially set posting date and will not allow the system to enter any delivery date after the initially set posting date. 

If there are multiple line items in the goods and service receipt, the system will check for the delivery dates of all the line items. Even if a single line item's delivery date is after the initially set posting date, the system will throw the mentioned error. 

1. Header level delivery date should be set toa date which is before the initially set posting date of the Goods and Service Receipt.
2. Item level delivery date should also be checked and make sure to set it to any date which is previous/before the initially set posting date of the Goods and Service Receipt.
