3355136 - Unable to comment cells from a calculated key figure

The button "Create/Edit Comment" is greyed out in Analysis for Office only when selecting a cell from a calculated key figure.

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

1. Open a query in BW Modeling Tools and create a calculated key figure

2. Open this query in Analysis for Office

3. Confirm the button "Create/Edit Comment" is disabled only for the calculated key figure

The key figure is missing a technical name.

According to Analysis for Office Documentation and SAP BW/4HANA Documentation, Document in the Document Store:

"To make it possible to add comments for calculated key figures, you have to assign a technical ID."

1. Open the query in BW Modeling Tools.

2. Select the key figure and Confirm the Technical Name is empty.

3. Insert a name on the field and save it.

4. Reopen AO and insert the query in a workbook

5. Confirm the comment button is enabled
