3355144 - Not Being Able to Assign the Work Center WoC MMA_EXPANDREIMBMANAGEMENT to an User

You are trying to access the work center MMA_EXPANDREIMBMANAGEMENT for a specific User, however the system shows a warning message and the work center is not assigned at all.

Warning message:

View MMA_EXPANDREIMBMANAGEMENT can't be assigned since no restrictions could be determined 

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center and Business Users view.

               

2. Search for the affected User.

               

3. Click Edit > Access Rights.

               

4. Go to the Work Center and View Assignment tab.

               

5. Click Find and search for MMA_EXPANDREIMBMANAGEMENT.

               
6. Assign it to the user.
7. The warning message will appear.

The view MMA_EXPANDREIMBMANAGEMENT is restricted to access context level 1003-Management of restricted rule '01 - Restrict to Org Unit Manager', this restricts access to the org units for which the employee is the reporting line unit manager.

The above rule Restricts the access to org units for which the employee is the reporting line unit manager, here the affected user is not a Reporting Line Unit Manager.

Due to that, the system can not able to find the restriction and view cannot be assigned to user.

You can assign the affected User as the Manager of the Reporting Line Unit and the warning message won't appear.

To assign a user as the manager of the RLU org unit, follow these steps

1. Go to Organizational management work center 
2. Go to Org structure view
3. Select the RLU org unit 
4. Edit the org unit from the effective date
5. Navigate to General tab
6. Assign the user in the Org Unit Manager field.
