3356396 - White empty box displaying on email footer

Symptom

When a SuccessFactors email notification is received there is a empty white box included in the footer of the email

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

1. If you are currently using the default SuccessFactors logo in the email footer, this needs to be removed to replicate this issue - see KBA - 2087875 - Removing SF logo in the Footer of Email Notifications

2. Trigger any email notification from SuccessFactors

3. If you highlight the body of the email you will find there is a blank/empty white box in the footer where the SF logo was before

Cause

This is expected due to current design. When the SF logo is removed, it is only hidden. The area where the logo once was is still marked with placeholder which is a white empty box. This cannot be removed.

Resolution

This empty placeholder from the hidden SF logo cannot be removed from the footer

Please consider opening an enhancement request for future releases to remove this placeholder. (2090228 - How to Submit Ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products )
