3356396 - White empty box displaying on email footer

Symptom

  • When a SuccessFactors email notification is received there is an empty white box included in the footer of the email
  • After removing the logo from email body, the notification has an empty box on email footer 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Trigger any email notification from SuccessFactors   

  2. Highlight the body of the email    

  3. You will find there is a blank/empty white box in the footer where the SF logo was before   

This behavior is not replicable with the default SuccessFactors logo in the email footer.  

Cause

This is expected behavior due to current system design. When the SF logo is removed, it is only hidden. The area where the logo once was is still marked with placeholder which is a white empty box.

Resolution

This empty placeholder from the hidden SF logo can not be removed from the footer.   

Please consider opening an enhancement request for future releases to remove this placeholder. (2090228 - How to Submit Ideas for SAP SuccessFactors Products)
