Reproducing the Issue

Maintain a receiver e-mail in the format for example:

  1. Go to the Receivables work center.
  2. Select the view Dunning.
  3. Search and find Dunning ID 123 (123 represents the Dunning ID).
  4. Select the button Preview.
  5. Select Send Options.
  6. Here we can see the e-mail address is maintained as (please note the upper and lower case).

When the e-mail is sent the e-mail naming convention is always lower case in this example

This is expected system behaviour. SAP is following the RFC 821/822 ff  were SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) - upper case lower cases are irrelevant.

System is following the RFC 821/822 ff Standard as SAP is not planning to make any enhancements.
