3356516 - Necessary Information for SAC related incidents


You run into an issue when trying to query a data from Datasphere in SAC and would like to create a case with component DS-BB or similar.

If the issue can be replicated directly in Datasphere, please ignore the followings steps and prepare the information according to the KBA 2854764.

In case you are having problem in SAC using the data from Datasphere, please provide the information below:

  1. Simplify the SAC story until it has only 1 widget.
  2. Network trace (SAP KBA 2280022) which records all steps starting from opening the SAC Story and provide us the .har file.
  3. Technical name of the SAC Story.
  4. Technical name of the underlying Datasphere object.
  5. Tenant URL for both SAC and DS.
  6. The clear and detailed steps for this issue can be followed until facing the final error. If the steps are not easy to describe, please provide some screenshots. If the provided steps will change the system data, please confirm that SAP can follow steps as we need to get customer’s approval for that.
  7. Enable support user creation for SAC (see here).
  8. Enable support user creation for DS or create support user (see SAP KBA 2891554).
