3356664 - Custom field type "link" not supported in the Latest Goal Management version for Performance and Development Plan

When adding a Custom Field using the type "link" through Manage Templates or Goal Plan XML, the field is not showing in the Latest Goal Management version for Performance goal plan or Development Plan.

Latest Goal Management and Career Development Plan

1. Go to Manage Templates
2. then to Goal Plan / Development
3. Open goal plan or development plan you need to edit
4. Edit Fields, Add New Field- (Field: Custom Field; Field ID: preferredfieldID; Field Type: link), save
5. Go to the Goals Tab, then to Individual Development Plan (Latest Goal Management)
6. Create Goal, the custom field is not visible
7. Verified in the Performance goal plan XML and in Individual Development Plan XML that the field has the read and write permissions

Custom field using type: link not supported in The Latest Goal Management. This is current system behavior.
