3356664 - Custom field type "link" not supported in the Latest Goal Management / Development Plan

Symptom

When adding a Custom Field using the type "link" through Manage Template or Goal Plan XML, the field is not showing in the Latest Goal Management and/or Development Plan.

Environment

Latest Goal Management and Career Development Plan

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Template
  2. then to Goal Plan / Development
  3. Open goal plan or development plan you need to edit
  4. Edit Fields, Add New Field- (Field: Custom Field; Field ID: preferredfieldID; Field Type: link), save
  5. Go to the Goals Tab, then to Individual Development Plan (Latest Goal Management)
  6. Create Goal, the custom field is not visible
  7. Verified in the Individual Development Plan XML that the field has the read and write permissions

Cause

Resolution

Custom field using type: link not supported in The Latest Goal Management.

Please open an enhancement request to have this field supported.
