3356804 - How to generate an output with only a XML file without sending the PDF

You would like to generate an output of a document that only contains the XML file without sending the PDF file to your business partner.

SAP Business ByDesign

In order to generate an output with only the XML file, you may use the Output Channel "XML". This Output Channel will prevent that a PDF file is sent to your business partner. After the output is generated, you will need to manually download the XML file and send it.

You may also use the Output Channel "External System". This Output Channel requires a Communication Arrangement and a Communication System, and the transformed XML gets sent as part of content to an end point URL.
