3356808 - Rate table can be edited after being approved and released using approval workflow

Symptom

  • In SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM), customizing for approval workflow for rate table is maintained
  • Charges in rate table are maintained and the status is set to “Awaiting approval” so that the charges get checked by the assigned approver
  • Approver confirms the rates for the validity period and rate table is set to Released
  • In released status, you can still go and edit the rates without triggering the approval workflow again
