• Start date field is not editable for rehires in Rehire on Old Employment during rehire verification.
• How to change Start Date value for rehires using Rehire on Old Employment?

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to homepage/to-do bar
2. Click on Rehire verification task for candidate
3. Choose Rehire on Old Employment
4. Start Date field is not editable in rehire data review page

• Expected behavior.
• Start Date field in rehire data review for Rehire on Old Employment is not editable; by contrast, for Rehire with New Employment, it's available to edit Start Date later in New Hire Data Review step.

• For Rehire on Old Employment, we cannot use the Hire Date Correction Tool to change the start date. As per official documentation and the following statement: Rehire records on old employment are not supported.
• Please make this change in the Job Information History UI.
• You may need to also change other entities (if applicable). for Example
  After you have accepted the candidate for rehire with their old employment, and you have completed the review new hire data, you can change the start date by navigating to the Onboarding Dashboard > finding the candidate > under actions > New Recruit Data > editing the start date and Submit.
