An approver delegation entry is created under Tab My Home --> under My Delegation work set and Approver Delegation link. The valid to date is set manually which can be set to infinit validity and the valid from has always got to be the actual date the assignment is created. Status is given manually as active or inactive.
If the valid to date is not given as in this example, but to a date which is for example just a couple of weeks from the valid from date then after expiration the delegation entry will no longer be visible. It is deleted from the backend tables as well.
The entry disappears and does NOT go into Inactive status.
