Symptom

The error "Replication Model 'NAME123' already exists in the system" is raised while setting up the communication arrangement SAP_COM_0008 in SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Communication Arrangements App
  2. Set up a new SAP_COM_0008 scenario
  3. Upon entering the Replication Model name the error The Error "Replication Model 'NAME123' already exists in the system" is raised

Cause

The replication model name must be unique.

Resolution

Give a unique name to the replication model
