3357228 - Custom Sales Phase of Opportunity Cannot Be Moved/Adapted in Guided Selling

You created a custom sales phase in the business configuration fine-tuning activity "Sales Cycles and Phases -> Maintain Sales Cycle" and you would like to shift its position in the Guided Selling work center view.

1. Go to the Guided Selling work center.

You notice the custom sales phase ABC (where ABC is a sales phase you created in the business configuration fine-tuning activity "Sales Cycles and Phases -> Maintain Sales Cycle" and you do not find means to shift its position.

The logic for displaying the sales phases is based in the sequence number you defined for the sales phase in the business configuration fine-tuning activity "Sales Cycles and Phases -> Maintain Sales Cycle"; the lower the number, the more it will be displayed to the left. Example: sequence 10 shows to the left of a sequence 20.

You can change the sequence number of your custom sales phase based in the business configuration fine-tuning activity "Sales Cycles and Phases -> Maintain Sales Cycle".

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Open the Overview view.
3. Search for "Sales Cycles and Phases" fine-tuning activity.
4. Select the "Maintain Sales Cycle" hyperlink.
5. Select the DEF Sales Cycle Code (where DEF is the code of sales cycle you included the custom sales phase).
6. Search for the GHI sales phase (where GHI is a custom sales phase from DEF sales cycle code).
7. Change the "Sequence" column to JKL (where JKL is a sequence number that falls between the other sales phases you want to set GHI in).
