3357419 - Price Determination is blank in Material Master.

Symptom

Unable to change Price Determination or it is blank in app 'Change Material'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app 'Create Material'.
  2. Enter the plant and other details, and open the tab 'Accounting 1'.
  3. The price determination field is blank.

Cause

For materials of type 'Non-Stock' the price determination is not filled by default as this is expected behavior. 

Resolution

Since there is no stock, 'Accounting' tab is not required as there is no valuation to be done.
