To create a remote source on SAP Datasphere's HANA Cloud instance fails due insufficient privilege.

SAP Datasphere is designed that the Database users are not authorized to create connections.

The proper way to create connections is via Datasphere's UI, refer to SAP Help page Create a Connection.
