3357797 - System Dumps when transporting Profile and Layout Sets

Symptom

When transporting Profile and layout Sets, system dumps in Fiori with below error message:
"Internal application error of BO /SCMTMS/PROF_LAYOUT_SET of component TM-BF-UI"

In backend system transaction ST22 the below dump can be found:

Category               ABAP programming error
Runtime Errors         RAISE_SHORTDUMP
Except.                /BOBF/CX_FRW_FATAL
Development Object     /SCMTMS/CL_PLS_A_TRANSPORT
