3357799 - Schedule backup failed due to Msg 7415 - SAP ASE for Busines Suite

Symptom

  • Schedule backup in DBACockpit failed
  • It doesn't trigger and status changes from "PLANNED" to "NOT AVAILABLE" and it fails after sometime with status as "SCHEDULING FAILED".
  • There is a Msg 7415 in <SID>_JSAGENT.log and Job Scheduler task terminated unexpectedly due to the Msg 7415.

    Msg 7415, Level 10, State 1:
    Server 'PRD'00:140737321715456:140737347467040:2023/07/29 07:00:01.56 worker  Procedure 'sp_writejoboutput' Line 43:
    Server message: The transaction log in database sybmgmtdb is almost full. Your transaction is being suspended until space is made available in the log.
