SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
- Cannot add property for a special public dimension in SAP Analytics Cloud
- After adding a property and saving the public dimension, the saving is successful but the added property is lost when the public dimension is reopened.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.08
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud tenant
- Go to Public dimension, open this special public dimension.
- Add a new Property, enter ID, Description and select a Type, click OK for the change.
- Click Save, and from the page it will say the dimension is saved successfully.
- Close this public dimension and open it again.
- Notice that, the added property is lost.
Cause
The problem has been forwarded to development for further check.
Resolution
The problem has been forwarded to development for further check.
Workaround: In System -> Administration, under System Configuration tab, uncheck Activate Translation Service logging.
