3358223 - SAC Data point comments not available in the analytic applications in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

You are using the data point comment on the BW or BPC live connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

The Add Data Point Comment option does not exist in the classic analytic application in the runtime.

The same option exists in the classic story, the unified story and the analytic application with View Time Optimization -> Enable Optimized Mode set to ON. 

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2023

1. Run a classic analytic application
2. Select the data cell to which you want to add a comment.
3. Right-click it.
4. The option Add Data Point Comment is not available.

The option Comment in the section Quick Menus of the table widget's Styling panel is not selected.

1. Open the application in the edit mode.
2. Select the table widget.
3. Open the Styling panel.
4. Select the option Comment in the section Quick Menus.
5. Resave the application.
6. Run the application.
