3358335 - Plan cost rate not correct for production/process orders

You found the total plan cost for activity type for production/process orders is incorrect based on the value of plan cost rate * plan quantity.

By default, the valuation strategy for activity type is set as "Plan Price as Average of All Fiscal Year Periods" in the valuation variant YR6, which is used for production/process order.
So if the planned cost rate (maintained in App Manage Cost Rates - Plan) is not maintained for the whole fiscal year, the cost rate used will be devided into a smaller value than expected.

Example:

You maintained cost rate 100 EUR from period 9 to period 12.
With the strategy "Plan Price as Average of All Fiscal Year Periods", the calculated rate will be like:
100 x 4 / 12 = 33.34 EUR
(4 means sum of rates in period 9, 10, 11 and 12)

If you would like to have the correct period rate, you need to change the configuration in SSCUI 102608 - Define Valuation Variants per Plant => Tab "Internal acty".
Change the first strategy into "Plan Price for the Period".
