Symptom

REST API call returning Empty Body Response intermittently.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  • Try using a REST API by a third party system;
  • Response from API call is Empty Body error.

Cause

  • CPQ IPs might not be whitelisted on customer's side;
  • If customer security team uses any Zero Trust solution, software might intermittently blocking the API calls.

Resolution

  • It should be checked if CPQ URLs are whitelisted in customer side;
  • If even after whitelisting CPQ URLs/IPs issue still happens, support team should be engaged.
