3358534 - Project Task Missing In Confirmation Journal Report

Symptom

You want to see the required project task ID however it is missing in Confirmation Journal Report

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
  2. Go to Reports view 
  3. Find Confirmation Journal report 
  4. Enter required Product ID and choose Apply.
  5. Here in Column: Project Task -> no details are being displayed.

Cause

Since relevant Confirmation ID for the product is being created with stock type : Pre-delivered stock and Inventory change reason is Transfer.
However, if Confirmation gets created with stock type as Warehouse against Project task ID then system displays Project Task ID. Therefore, Project Task IDs are available in a report. 

Resolution

This is an expected system behavior.
