3358646 - How To Copy an Existing Case into a New Case

You would like to understand how to create a new case as a copy of an existing one.

SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

In order to copy a case to a new one, you can follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Cases work center.
2. Select the case you would like to copy.
3. On the Actions column, click Copy Case.
4. See the case quick create pop-up will be displayed.

The copied case will copy the basic set of information like subject, case type, and party information, but you will be able to change the case type if desired.
