3358656 - Sorting of Purchase Order ID Column Does not Work in the Line Item Level of Goods and Service Receipt

You have created goods and service receipts for multiple line items. When you go to items tab, sorting does not work in the Purchase Order ID column. 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Goods and Service Receipts work center 
2. Go to Receipts and Returns view
3. Select the relevant Goods and Service Receipt 
4. Select Edit and navigate to Items tab
5. Go to Purchase Order ID column and try to Sort by Ascending or Descending
6. Sorting does not work

The sorting for the column Purchase Order ID in the Goods and Services Receipt screen will work when all the line items belong to different purchase order IDs (Multiple purchase orders are created as a single Goods and Services Receipt). However when all the line items belong to the same purchase order and only the item line ID differs, and due to the concatenation of purchase order and line-item ID it will not work. 

This is a technical limitation currently when all the line items belong to the same purchase order. The improvement can be taken in the future releases of ByDesign.
