3358673 - How To Mass Edit Cases in Cases List

Symptom

You would like to understand how to edit multiple cases at the same time in cases list.

Environment

SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Resolution

To edit multiple cases at the same time, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Cases work center.
  2. Select multiple cases on the list.
  3. Click Mass Edit icon.
  4. Change the data which will be reflected for all selected cases.
  5. Click Done.

At this point, you will be able to edit the following fields which are supported at the moment:

  • Priority
  • Subject
  • Service Team
  • Assigned To
  • Reported On

If errors are experienced in any of the selected cases, the same will be highlighted on the list for a manual correction.
