3358732 - AIF - How to assign AIF recipients to users?

Symptom

The Fiori Message Monitoring Application or transaction /AIF/IFMON does not display the desired messages for specific interface(s). If the user has not been assigned to any recipient, no message is displayed and error "No recipient assigned" is visible.
