3359515 - Planned Working Time is Different From The Standard Data Source

User has created a custom report from the data source 'Employee Times - HCMTLMU01' and the Planned Working Time displayed is different from the Standard Data Source report.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics Work center

2. Select  Design Reports view

3. Search for the custom report "ABC"

4. Open the report "ABC" and run

5. Check the results for "Planned Working Time (PLNDTIME)" Key Figure. 

6. Visit the View section and add Date, observe the report has the Planned Working Time displayed incorrectly

The user has not maintained correct Key Date selection for the generated report.

User has to maintain 'Current Month to Date' in the Date field under Key Date selection for the Employee Times report.

By selecting 'Current Month' as the Key Date, the system considers data up to today's date + 1 day. However, when the Key Date is set to 'Current Month to Date,' the system accurately considers data only up to today's date. It is important to note that this solely pertains to the dates used in the report to retrieve data and does not have any business impact. 

Follow the below steps to select the Key Date field for the Employee Times report:

1. Go to Business Analytics Work center

2. Select  Design Reports view

3. Search and open the Report "ABC"

4. Run the report

5. Go to Selection Tab 

6. Enter the  Employee ID and Maintain the Date field as  'Current Month to Date' under  Key Figure 

7. Execute the report

Now the Planned Working Time field will show the accurate hours as expected.
