3359586 - Last Updated By (lastModifiedBy) behaviour for ISC scenarios involving Integration Center

You have configured an Intelligent Services Center (ISC) event which triggers an Integration center (IC) job to do some follow up action / change based on this event:

For example:

• You have configured the New Hire ISC event to trigger an IC job to update some custom field in the employee's Job Information

You expect the Last Updated By (lastModifiedBy) value for the follow up action / change to reflect the person who initially created the ISC event

(i.e. the person who done the Hire action in above example) but instead it is the person who created / executed the Integration Center job

This is expected behaviour for ISC-IC scenarios:

• The person who does the UI action will be shown as the "Initiator" of the event in Intelligent Services Center > [event] > Event Monitoring
    
• The ISC event is then triggering the Integration Center job to which it is connected
    
• The Integration Center job is then responsible for the follow up action / change based on this event 
        

As a result, the Last Updated By (lastModifiedBy) value of any change made via an Integration Center job will reflect the person who has created / executed that Integration Center job & not the person who has initiated the ISC event.
