3359797 - System Creating Multiple Tasks Against Stock Transfer Order ViaTwo Step Shipping Model.

You want to create a task against relevant order however system is creating one task for each line item against Stock Transfer Order.

1. Go to Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Go to Outbound Delivery Proposal view.
3. Select required ID and choose create warehouse task.
4. System creates Warehouse task ID.
5. Once it is created, system creates pick task.
6. Now navigate to Task Control view.
7. Search for relevant warehouse request ID.
8. Here you can find, system has generated multiple tasks for same warehouse request instead of one.

Since in the relevant logistics model ID, Activity Type is maintained Move Per Destination due to which system is creating multiple tasks against an order.

In the used Logistics Model, the Activity Type is Move Per Destination for both operations: Pick and Load operations.

Activity Type determines the number of Tasks to be created for a given Warehouse Request. In this case, the Target Logistics Area is fetching different for each item, hence as the "Move Per Destination" Activity, two or more tasks are created based on the Target Logistics Area.

1. Go to Warehouse and Logistics Master Data work center.
2. Go to Logistics Models view.
3. Find relevant Logistics Model ID with template ID :Template for two-step shipping with pick and load.
4. Select and edit it.
5. Select row with Operation Pick and choose option: Change Activity Type.
6. Select Activity Type :Move All via drop down.
7. Select the same Activity for Load operation as well.
8. Now perform Save and Release.

Note : It is valid for one step shipping model as well.
